Title: Shipper/Warehouse Associate

Description:

We are actively looking to HIRE a PERMANENT/FULL-TIME employee to our growing team! We are a food manufacturing/packaging company looking for a Shipper/WarehouseAssociate.

  • Shipper/Warehouse Associate typically work in a warehouse, overseeing all incoming and outgoing products and materials. They have to keep meticulous records of all items that enter or leave the facility

Details:

  • Monday to Friday 
  • 3:30pm - 12:00am (straight Nights)
    • 9-hour shift, overtime paid after 8-hours $$$
  • Unionized Facility 
  • $19.94/hour to start + .50 shift premium
  • Overtime available as interested, Sundays = Doube Time $$$ 
  • 2 weeks vacation
  • Benefits after 6 months

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all raw materials entering and leaving the warehouse 
  • Update and maintain manuals/computerized reports corresponding to shipping and receiving 
  • Verify all shipped and received material quantities 
    • Documenting any discrepancies/shortages and communicating with the appropriate department/person
  • Performing inventory counts as required
  • Completing paperwork for shipped and received material

Requirements:

  • Lift truck licenses REQUIRED
  • Previous warehouse experience 
  • Inventory count experience 
  • Comfortable completing shipping and receiving reports 
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills 
  • Basic math skills (used for inventory counts, reports, monitoring material coming and going)
  • Open to learning basic computer skills/understand basic computer skills 

Working Conditions:

  • Physical lifting/moving of equipment and material 30%-40% 
  • Wet, Damp, and refrigerated environment (50 F/10 C)
  • Must wear hearing protection due to machines operating and sounds
  • Safety shoes, hair/beard nets mandatory
