Title: Shipper/Forklift Operator PERMANENT

Bright, Dynamic and Fun work environment-This international Consumers Products Company is looking for a dedicated and reliable Shipper/Forklift Driver! Full time, direct hire!! (Winston Churchill and Dundas)

The Role: To accurately prepare, verify and load all orders as per client requirements.  Assign correct courier based on order type. You will track orders on our transport management system (TMS). The successful person will correct discrepancies and/or report them prior to shipping out. Accuracy and attention to detail is very important as a Shipper!

The Role: Forklift Operator

• Opening in: Shipping Department
• Operate the Raymond Reach/Counterbalance (85% of the time) 
• Load trailers ensuring the product is loaded safely and the product matches the paperwork 
• Sign off to ensure trucks have been complete and ready to leave the docks 
• Use the RF scanner to verify product/order information
• Request pick up appointments and/or coordinate with 3PLs/Carrier(s)
• Create shipment paperwork or ASN (advance shipping notice)
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs
• Working efficiently & effectively to get orders filled
• Report inventory discrepancies to Supervisor

Requirements:

• TMS (transportation management system) experience 
• Excel experience: Basic Functions 
• High School graduate 
• RF scanner experience 
• 2+ years of direct Warehouse Experience in a Distribution center
• Forklift License REQUIRED - MUST be Licenced Counterbalance 
  • Raymond reach / walkie experience required but no license needed
• Clear Criminal Background
